Workforce
Access to equitable employment with upward mobility involves a nexus of optimal information, choices, policies, and systems.
For people underrepresented or left out of any industry or workforce, the barriers to work are as many as they are complex. Real-time data and responsible technology can be developed and implemented to diminish these barriers — from education and training to the hiring funnel to upskilling and reskilling. Current research projects include:
Developing and scaling fair algorithms to source, filter, and engage frontline workers
Measuring and mitigating disparate impact in the hiring funnel
Designing and researching two-way communication to engage and support workers
